Fresh off the announcement of his sophomore album title “All-AmeriKKKan Bada$$,” Bada$$ released the video for his recent single “Land of the Free.” In the powerful and political video, Joey and a group of African-American men in restraints stand resolutely in the desert while a group of white businessmen, police officers, and politicians open fire on them. This violent imagery is contrasted with idyllic footage of Bada$$ innocently running around a grassy mountainside with African-American kids and rapping “Land of the Free” to them like it’s a bedtime story. ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ is due out April 7, 2016.
